Home Sweet Hawaii

"All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go. I'm standing here outside your door, I'd hate to wake you up before I go. I'm leavin' on a jet plane..."
I'm in Hawaii! What what?! I am so happy to be home again. The last time I visited was for only a week and that was January 2009. :( Luckily, I found super cheap tickets and was able to come home for two weeks.

Within the first week of my return to "Hawai`i Nei" I went to the beach. :) We went to Kailua Beach Park and it was so fun! Way windy, but I got some mad sun, son! Hahaa! I am now an awesome brown color, once again.

The great thing about being home is catching up with family and friends. I caught up with people I haven't seen in a long time! I spent the day with my BFF, Rachel. She took me to breakfast at "Boots and Kimo's" in Kailua. If you are ever in Kailua, check them out! I had the banana and macadamia nut pancakes. It might sound a litte weird, but it is to die for! "Broke da mout!" :)

I went to "Big City Diners" with my family, and it was even more better than I remember! So ono! Their chocolate shake was... AH-MAZING! Best shake I ever had, in my life! Seriously! And I've had my share of shakes. Go there. Trust me, NOT a waste of time or money. Do it!

Bottom line... Next time you are in Hawaii, check out these places, and some new ones, and then you can tell me about them! :)

Well, my two weeks are up and I should be on a plane to Phoenix and then off to Salt Lake City. Turns out I'm staying another two weeks! :) My mom asked me to stay a little longer to continue in helping my family to pack and move. And now instead of a layover in Phoenix on the way to Salt Lake, I will now be heading over to Las Vegas. I will then hang out in St. George for a night with Karyn, and then it's off to Lehi. :) I've missed Utah, but I can't lie about loving every minute being in Hawaii! Well, almost every minute. :) Have a good one guys! Until next time... Be strong, be happy, and find the joy in your life!
